Autumn

Grief

External//Emotional

After the gauntlet of Summer, Autumn gives us the time to grieve.

Grief is important and complex. It's a recognition that there is no going back, and we have lost parts of ourselves. These can be tangible, like a loved one or a treasured object, or intangible, like a feeling or a time. These will always be important to us, and we should not forget them, but we cannot live our lives hoping that they will return.

It is easy to get lost in grief, and so we should never grieve alone. When we share grief, we can find new understanding communities.
By sharing in this most cutting of emotions,

We can begin to build a new future.

Once we have embraced Autumn and felt its pain, Winter may come, and we can heal our wounds.
