The Seasons of Spaces

This is my initial musing on my Ethos. It has changed a fair bit since, but you can definitely see the core.

Summer - Fatigue

Our Spaces Are Dead.

We wonder why towering stone crumbles.
We wonder why entombed soils flood.
We wonder why life burns on land that we strip bare.

We have built static points in the sea of the cosmos and we wonder why the tide rises.

Autumn - Grief

Our Spaces Cannot Go Back.

We believe in a better past.
We believe that damage can be undone.
We believe that the world was once in perfect balance.

Clinging to the past is stopping us from believing in a better future.

Winter - Acceptance

Our Spaces Will Move Forward.

We must survive.
We must see that nature will survive.
We must move forward, with nature, as nature, as nature is.

We have always fought nature, torn it from our lives, but we must see that we cannot exist without it.

Spring - Hope

Our Spaces Could Live.

We should do better.
We should learn from our mistakes.
We should learn to live within the world.

We know that we should, of course we know that we must. But if we dare to believe we can, if we wonder what could be,

There is hope that we will.
